Thực trạng thích ứng tâm lí - xã hội của sinh viên năm thứ nhất Trường Đại học Thủ Dầu Một
Tóm tắt
First-year students face many changes when transitioning from high school to university, psychological and social adaptation plays an essential role in helping them overcome feelings of confusion, loneliness and difficulties in studying and living. In this study, the results of a survey on the level of psychological and social adaptation of 246 first-year students at Thu Dau Mot University showed that students had a fairly positive level of adaptation, in which social adaptation was higher than psychological adaptation. Male students and those living far from their families showed lower levels of social adaptation, while there was no significant difference in psychological and overall adaptation. On that basis, the study proposed individual support programs to improve students' adaptability in the early stages of university. Appropriate and timely support contributes to helping them adapt effectively to the new learning environment.
