Năng lực cạnh tranh của các cơ sở giáo dục đại học công lập trong bối cảnh tự chủ đại học ở Việt Nam: một nghiên cứu định tính

Improving competitiveness is an urgent requirement for each public higher education institution in the current context of social participation and autonomy at universities. However, public universities in Vietnam are still confused in navigating towards solutions to improve and enhance their competitiveness. One of the main reasons is that universities have neither clearly defined the concept and content of the components of an organisation’s competitiveness, nor clarified the concept and content of competitiveness of public higher education in Vietnam. This article is based on the results of qualitative research, including document analysis and interviews with experts to provide the concept and connotation of the competitiveness of public higher education institutions in Vietnam. Thus, the article aims to offer schools appropriate solutions in order to improve their organization's competitiveness, which eventually would improve the competitiveness of the whole field.
