Các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến thái độ học tập môn Lịch sử và Địa lí của học sinh tiểu học
Tóm tắt
History and Geography are compulsory subjects in Vietnam’s primary education curriculum. However, this subject has received neither adequate attention from the teacher nor interest from the learner. This study explores the factors that influence learning attitudes towards History and Geography among Vietnamese primary school students. The exploratory factor analysis method was used, with 19 questions designed and delivered to primary school students through social channels and with the help of students' parents. Based on the survey results from 200 students with the support of the SPSS software, the analysis identified five main factors affecting the learning attitudes towards History and Geography of the students: Factor 1 - The impact of surrounding people; factor 2 - Students' interest in the subject, factor 3 - teachers’ teaching methods and techniques, factor 4 - Parents’ engagement; and factor 5 - learners' beliefs. The results of this study can serve as a reference for researchers in proposing pedagogical measures in teaching the two subjects efficiently.
