Streaming in education is a measure to organize educational activities on the basis of implementing career guidance in education, creating conditions for students graduating from secondary school and high school to continue at the same level of education, pursue higher education or pursue vocational education or participate in labor appropriate to the individual's specific abilities, conditions and social needs; contributing to regulating the occupational structure of the workforce in accordance with the country's development requirements. This article studies the current situation of streamlining students after secondary school in Hoa Binh province (focusing on ethnic minority secondary schools). From there, we propose some solutions to increase the effectiveness of this work. To make the work of streamlining post-secondary school students more effective, Hoa Binh province needs to synchronously implement many solutions, focusing on solutions to raise awareness about streamlining secondary school, promulgating specific policy mechanisms for ethnic minority secondary school students, with the socio-economic conditions of each region and strengthening coordination between departments, branches, vocational education establishments, production and business establishments.
