Cơ hội và thách thức khi sử dụng AI chatbot trong dạy học lập trình: nghiên cứu trường hợp ở khu vực miền Trung và Tây Nguyên

In recent years, the development of artificial intelligence technology has exerted a great impact on education. In particular, AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing chat, GitHub Copilot… have offered interesting opportunities as well as challenges for learners and teachers. Therefore, deciding what opportunities can and should be exploited, as well as how to overcome or diminish the challenges that may arise from these tools to teaching, is a matter of concern. Using the method of document review and semi-structured interviews, this article surveys the opinions of some IT teachers and lecturers in the Central and Central Highlands regions who teach programming-related subjects about the potential opportunities and challenges that AI chatbots pose for teaching and learning programming as well as their views on the necessary adjustments in their teaching to face the opportunities and challenges when AI chatbots have become prominent and universal. In today's rapidly changing digital transformation landscape, seizing advantages from AI chatbot tools is critical and urgent.
