STEM education has appeared and is respected in many countries with developed economies in the world such as the US, Australia, Korea, etc. STEM education aims to train high-quality human resources in related occupations. to STEM. In Vietnam, STEM education also appeared at a modest level in a few high schools in the late twentieth century. However, until now, STEM education has officially been included in the 2018 General Education Program. Although many teachers have also been actively applying STEM in teaching activities, many teachers still have difficulty designing STEM problems, as well as organizing students to solve STEM problems,... In this article, we would like to introduce some basic concepts related to STEM and STEM education: STEM concepts; STEM education orientation; Biology 10 content that can build STEM topics/lessons; STEM competencies; build and structure STEM problems to develop students' competence; develop a criteria table to evaluate students' competences; STEM education-oriented lesson plan design process and illustrative examples.
