The concept of “Happy School” is becoming increasingly popular and plays a crucial role in the overall development of education. Since 2018, building “Happy School” has been a major task for Vietnam's education sector to meet the requirements of comprehensive reform while also enhancing the quality and competitive advantage of schools. This study, conducted with 300 parents at UK Academy Ha Long Campus (hereafter referred to as UK Academy Ha Long), aims to evaluate the impact of “Happy School” criteria on parents' school choice decisions. The survey results, collected from March to July 2024, indicate that the “Happy School” criteria significantly influence parental decisions in selecting a school for their children at UK Academy. This serves as an important basis for UK Academy's management to develop strategies to attract students and to continue refining the unique “Happy School” criteria tailored to the school, thereby enhancing organizational culture.
