School health care is an important task of preschools to ensure the comprehensive development of children. The results of a questionnaire survey of managers, teachers and staff at 10 preschools in Hoa Thanh town, Tay Ninh province on the practice of school health care for children with four contents: nutrition; physical fitness; hygiene; health care and school safety for children showed that these contents were implemented regularly and quite effectively; however, for each content, the average score of the level of effectiveness was lower than the level of implementation, at the same time, there were still criteria that were only implemented at the level of “occasionally” and the effectiveness was at the level of “average”. From there, the article pointed out the correlation between the level of implementation and the implementation results and made recommendations for stakeholders in implementing school health care activities for children in preschools in the area. To do this well, it is necessary to strengthen education and training of positive behavioral habits in children's daily activities, and close coordination between schools, families and society in implementing school health care activities for children.
