Tóm tắt

The changes in the new General education program and the digital transformation process require a clear understanding of the current situation of professional activities in ethnic boarding and semi-boarding schools and schools with semi-boarding students to propose appropriate solutions, contributing to improving the quality of education and narrowing the gap between regions. The results of a survey of 2,423 managers and 24,796 teachers, combined with semi-structured interviews, show that despite many efforts to diversify professional activities, there are still many challenges to be solved in these schools. The most common forms of professional activities are professional activities by topic, professional activities based on lesson research and professional seminars; however, there is a difference in the assessment of the quality of implementation between managers and teachers. Some solutions are proposed, such as enhancing training, improving facilities, promoting digital transformation, enhancing connections between schools, innovating professional activities and effective time management. These findings provide an important basis for ethnic boarding schools, semi-boarding schools and schools with semi-boarding students to organize appropriate professional activities, contributing to improving the quality of education.
