Thematic instruction in Literature, a new component introduced in the 2018 General Education Curriculum, is designed to support students’ career orientation toward the social sciences and humanities. These modules go beyond theoretical knowledge, requiring students to demonstrate the ability to explore, create, and apply what they learn in real-life contexts. Accordingly, the design and integration of experiential learning activities in the teaching process are considered essential, as they create opportunities for students to develop both language competence and core competencies. This article discusses the design of experiential learning activities in the context of thematic Literature instruction and provides illustrative examples of such activities for Grade 11. The findings suggest that these instructional designs can serve as pedagogical resources for teachers, contributing to the enhancement of teaching effectiveness in Grade 11 Literature modules.
