Social skills education is an important foundation in shaping the personality of preschool children. This activity helps children regulate their emotions, behave appropriately, practise self-service skills and increase independence, develop comprehensively and be ready to integrate into society, and study effectively. By surveying through questionnaires with 213 subjects (including 36 managers and 177 teachers in 4 preschools in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province), combined with interview methods, the article analyzes the current status of social skills education activities for preschool children in preschools in the surveyed area according to the approach of educational elements. In the 5 surveyed elements, the assessment of the results of social skills education for preschool children has the highest level of implementation and the form of organizing educational activities has the highest implementation results; on the contrary, the content of educational activities has the lowest level of implementation and implementation results. The research results will be an important practical basis for proposing measures to improve the effectiveness of educational activities to develop social skills for preschool children in kindergartens.
