Tóm tắt
STEAM education is an educational model of great focus in many countries around the world, including Vietnam. It is a method of applying multi-dimensional interactive education to teaching, an integrated education method with an interdisciplinary approach through practice and application. This study proposes a process of organizing STEAM teaching, including 6 steps: Identifying the problem, Researching background knowledge, Proposing and choosing solutions, Designing a model, Testing and evaluating, Completing Design and naming the product. The proposed process is illustrated through teaching the STEAM Education topic "Designing a birthday hat" in Mathematics Grade 8. The application of STEAM education to teaching Mathematics aims to help students creatively apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical problems, to be engaged and passionate about learning the subject, thereby contributing to the development of problem-solving capacity and the ability to apply knowledge in practice.
