Một số yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến sự lựa chọn nghề dạy học của sinh viên sư phạm ở Việt Nam

Career choice is considered one of the main concerns and challenges for students who are nearing the end of their high school studies. Therefore, the issue of counseling and career orientation for students in high school plays an important role in preparing future generations of any country. The study presents survey results on factors affecting the choice of teaching profession of pedagogical students in Vietnam. Questionnaire survey method and in-depth interview method were used to collect data on 486 students of three universities with teacher training majors. Research results show that there are three groups of factors that influence the decision to choose the teaching profession of pedagogical students: internal factors - internal altruism, external factors and some other factors. The results from this study are compared with a number of similar results from other studies around the world. From there, the author analyzes the causes from a number of mechanisms and policies for the teaching profession in countries around the world and in Vietnam.
