Inferential statistical tests play a vital role in analyzing educational data by evaluating differences, relationships between variables, and the effectiveness of teaching methods. This research focuses on applying four widely used tests: the independent t-test, paired t-test, McNemar test, and Chi-square test. Using real educational data examples, the study demonstrates how these tests provide scientific evidence to identify differences in mathematics scores between male and female students (independent t-test), assess the effectiveness of differentiated teaching approaches (paired t-test), analyze pass/fail rates after exam preparation (McNemar test), and examine the relationship between academic tracks and university major selections (Chi-square test). The findings underscore the importance of selecting appropriate statistical tests based on research design and transforming analytical results into practical educational interventions. The study highlights how proper application of these inferential tests can enhance educational research quality and inform teaching improvement strategies.
