Tóm tắt

In the context of competency-based educational reform, organizing learning activities to develop students' collaborative problem-solving skills has gained increased attention. However, current research mainly approaches collaboration and problem-solving as two relatively independent components, while the exploitation of open-ended problems as a means of organizing collaborative problem-solving learning has not been systematically explored. This study uses a theoretical research method to propose a process for organizing collaborative problem-solving activities with open-ended problems, comprising three stages: Designing a differentiated system of open-ended problems; Organizing collaborative problem-solving activities; and Evaluating, reflecting on, and adjusting the learning process. The process is illustrated through teaching the content “Calculating the area and perimeter of a rectangle” (Mathematics 6). Research results contribute to supplementing the theoretical basis and providing reference materials for teachers in organizing collaborative problem-solving activities through open-ended problems in teaching mathematics in secondary schools.
