Tóm tắt

Digital competence helps high school students access and effectively use online learning resources, supporting the development of critical thinking, self-study, and online communication skills, improving global integration and personal information security, and preparing to participate in the future labor market that requires digital skills. This study aims to understand the factors affecting the digital competences of high school students in Vietnam through a literature review and using the Delphi method. Research results identify nine factors that are believed to affect the digital competences of high school students, including student gender, student age, student living area, educational level of students' parents, students' participation in information technology courses, students' family economic status, digital skills of direct teachers, students' awareness of the need for digital technology and the frequency of students' use of digital technology. This is the basis for conducting further research to develop digital competences for students in the future.
