STEM education is a teaching approach with the aim to equip students with scientific knowledge associated with their practical applications. Mathematics education also aims to develop key knowledge and skills, providing opportunities for students to experience and apply mathematics into real life. Mathematics education also helps to connect mathematical ideas, connect mathematics with real-world problems and other subjects, especially Science, Natural Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology and Informatics, contributing to the implementation of STEM education. In this article, the authors present the organization of STEM educational activities (teaching Math with STEM lessons) in association with preservation and promotion of the national culture through a specific example. The implementation of STEM education activities in high schools associated with preservation and promotion of national cultural values not only helps develop specific competencies for students, but also offer many opportunities to form and promote their qualities, especially patriotism and the sense of responsibility.
