With the explosion of the Internet and digital transformation, digital social media is playing an increasingly important role in every human being's social interactions. The use of these types of digital media has been changing the social behavior of teenagers, a group of people who are early and rapid adopters of new technologies. Nowadays, activities such as communication, interaction, and cooperation in learning and working of adolescents are increasingly carried out on digital platforms through the use of combined interactive media with Internet-based mobile applications create an online identity, communicate with others and build a network of social relationships. Research on changes in adolescents' social behavior due to the impact of digital media use has been a topic of current interest. To have an overall perspective on this research topic, in this article, the authors will review studies analyzing the positive and negative impacts of digital social media on. behavior and social skills of adolescents by analyzing research documents on this issue.
