Xây dựng mô hình dạy học theo định hướng giáo dục STEM và vận dụng trong dạy học Sinh học cấp Trung học phổ thông

STEM education is currently being promoted in many countries and is considered one of the measures for developing high-quality human resources in STEM-related fields. In Vietnamese high schools, teachers are also actively applying STEM in their teaching activities. However, many teachers still face difficulties in designing STEM problems as well as organizing students to solve STEM problems to develop their general and subject-specific competencies. In this article, based on research on some STEM education models, the authors propose a STEM-oriented teaching model that describes the structural components of the model, related processes, and the application of the model in teaching Biology in high schools. The STEM-oriented teaching model and an example in teaching Biology will be a reference document contributing to improving teaching quality in high schools.
