In response to the practical need to improve education quality and develop teachers' professional competencies in general education schools in Vietnam, the establishment and effective operation of professional learning communities are crucial. These communities foster a collaborative culture, enhance teaching quality, and contribute to better students’ learning outcomes. This article aims to clarify the concept and process of establishing and operating professional learning communities in general education schools. The research findings provide a basis for proposing practical solutions to create and sustain these communities, including defining clear goals, building positive collegial relationships, and ensuring supportive conditions for their success.
