Thực trạng vận dụng mô hình giáo dục STEM trong dạy học môn Khoa học tự nhiên nhằm phát triển năng lực khoa học tự nhiên cho học sinh trung học cơ sở trên địa bàn Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
Tóm tắt
Integrated teaching is one of the key points in building the 2018 General Education Program for Natural Sciences. STEM education is an educational model based on an interdisciplinary approach, helping students apply scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical knowledge to solve practical problems in specific contexts. This article focuses on clarifying the following aspects: (1) The necessity of developing natural science competence for students; (2) The teaching methods used by teachers to develop students' natural science competences; (3) The extent of applying STEM education approaches in teaching natural sciences; (4) The level of necessity to use certain active teaching methods to organize STEM lessons in order to develop students' natural science competences; (5) The forms and methods of assessment commonly used by teachers in the process of organizing STEM lessons; (6) The advantages and challenges faced by teachers when organizing STEM lessons in the subject of Natural Sciences at secondary schools. Research results show that it is necessary to develop natural science competences for students at school.
