Social stories are often used to develop social skills for children with autism spectrum disorder. Social stories with Panel Theater is a new method of expressing social stories in a new form, which has advantages to develop social skills for children with ASD. This research presents some social stories performed with Panel Theater and uses them in teaching social skills for children with ASD at primary school age. The results of observing the behavior of greetings and inviting friends to co-play among the examined children before, during and after teaching the 2 social skills with Panel Theater, showed a significant improvement in their appropriate behaviours, gestures, words and emotion expression. From the research results, it is possible and effective to use social stories with Panel Theater in teaching social skills to children with ASD of primary school age, which should be further studied in the future.
