Tóm tắt

Applying technology in education is not only a global trend but also an important driver in the context of educational reform in Vietnam. Among these technologies, virtual reality (VR) provides immersive and interactive learning experiences that support the innovation of teaching methods. This study surveyed 268 high school teachers in Ho Chi Minh City, using the Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM) to analyze the factors influencing their intention to use VR in teaching. The results show that perceived usefulness is the strongest direct factor influencing intention, followed by positive attitudes toward technology. In addition, positive technology readiness factors (optimism, innovativeness) promote, while negative factors (insecurity, discomfort) hinder, teachers’ perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of VR. These findings provide important implications for enhancing teachers’ perceptions and attitudes, thereby promoting the application of VR in the context of digital transformation in education.
