Currently, the demand for career counseling in high school students is quite high, calling for the attention of families, schools and society. However, there have not been many studies addressing this topic, and career counseling is not really effective, despite its importance as the first step in students' career orientation. The article investigates the subjective and objective factors affecting the need for career guidance counseling of high school students in Ly Son district, Quang Ngai province, the degree of impact and the correlation between these factors. This is a practical basis to help the school develop an effective and feasible career counseling plan and help high school students to make the right and appropriate decisions in their career selection.
