Những rào cản chính khi ứng dụng Metaverse trong đào tạo bậc đại học: nghiên cứu trường hợp tại một số trường đại học ở Việt Nam

First appearing in 1992, the term “Metaverse” is now becoming increasingly popular in life as well as in education. The article analyzes the main obstacles to deploying and using the Metaverse application in higher education through a survey with 92 managers, faculty, non-teaching staff, and engineers at ten universities. The questionnaire was combined with in-depth interviews with 08 managers and 08 lecturers at 05 universities. The research results show that the survey sample is random and diverse; and sufficiently represents a wide range of professions and disciplines in social sciences, natural sciences, computers, and information technology, etc. The article presents some implications aiming at improving the effectiveness of Metaverse applications in higher education in Vietnam.
